Sverige ska Är 2020 ha en energiförsörjning bestÄende av 50 % förnybara energikÀllor. Den viktigaste kÀllan till förnybar energi Àr solen. Solel Àr dock en dyr investering idag och gÀllande regelverk försvÄrar möjligheterna till att tillgodorÀkna sig egenproducerad el.Byggföretaget JM bygger redan hus med lÄg energianvÀndning. Ett sÀtt att bidra till ett förnybart energianvÀndande Àr att installera system som producerar egen el till husen. Detta arbete har genomförts för att undersöka om solel kan komma att bli en konkurrenskraftig produkt att erbjuda JM:s husköpare.
SolvÀrme eller solel för uppvÀrmning för smÄhus?
VÀrlden stÄr idag inför ett antal stora utmaningar varav en viktig handlar om att ersÀtta fossila brÀnslenmed förnybara alternativ. FN rapporterar om dystra konsekvenser för vÄrt klimat frÀmst orsakat av mÀnniskans utslÀpp av vÀxthusgaser. Tillvaratagandet av solenergi anses vara en viktig resurs i omstÀllningen mot ett mer klimatneutralt energisystem. AnvÀndningen av solel har under de senaste Ären ökat kraftigt i Sverige samtidigt som tekniken utvecklats och priserna sjunkit. AnvÀndningen av solvÀrme har dÀremot inte ökat i lika stor omfattning de senaste Ären (fÀrre antal installerade solfÄngare Är 2012 jÀmfört med Är 2011) trots att Sverige har ett stort uppvÀrmningsbehov och ett stort antal soltimmar.Detta examensarbete har i huvudsak syftat till att undersöka och jÀmföra olika solbaserade uppvÀrmningssystem ur energi, ekonomi och miljöperspektiv.
Solenergiutveckling i Halland
Idag ökar antalet solenergianlÀggningar stort i Sverige, framförallt inom solelen. Samtidigt finns det inte nÄgon lÄngsiktig hÄllbar metod för att statistikföra solenergin. Det finns heller ingen regionsspecifik statistik, nÄgot som mÄnga svenska lÀn och kommuner Àr intresserade av. Med bakgrund till detta behandlar arbetet frÄgor om solenergins utveckling med utgÄngspunkt för Hallands lÀn, dÀr fokus ligger pÄ statistikinsamling.För att fÄ en god uppfattning om utbyggnaden av solenergi i lÀnet görs en statistiksammanstÀllning av regionens solenergi. Samtidigt lÀggs förslag pÄ framtida statistikmetoder för att bÀttre kunna följa solenergins utveckling i framtiden, regionalt sÄvÀl som nationellt.
HÄllbar à ? en analys av möjligheterna att försörja ett modellösamhÀlle i Stilla Havet med solel
The goal of this paper is to provide a model for a sustainable electricity system to an island, in the Pacific Ocean near the equator.The method which has been used is to model supply and demand of electricity in the computer program Stella, through the creation of a dynamic system that balances them against each other. The result from the model will then be used to calculate the electricity price per kWh for the island.The result of the work is that electricity from solar energy is comparable with electricity produced from oil, if the oil pays for all its external costs, and the potential for pumped hydro storage plants is located. It also requires that consumers of electricity can be their own producers to avoid the expenditure of tax and reducing the cost of distribution. But since oil is a finite resource and has had a rising cost in recent years, while solar energy has had a declining cost, perhaps this will be a more competitive solution in the future.
Flexibla solceller i ett textilt material - Alternativ till integrering av förnyelsebar energi i vÀv och varptrikÄ
I följande rapport behandlas Ă€mnet förnyelsebar energi i samband med textila material. I resultatet ges förslag till möjliga tillvĂ€gagĂ„ngssĂ€tt för integrering av flexibla solceller i vĂ€v- och varptrikĂ„. Alternativ till maskintillverkare och maskintyper redovisas och potentiella anvĂ€ndningsomrĂ„den diskuteras. Ăven förlag pĂ„ typ av flexibel solcell presenteras. Teorin vilket rapporten grundar sig pĂ„ Ă€r humanekologisk.
Mikroproduktion av solel i flerfamiljshus : Lönsamhetsanalys genom simulering av solcellsanlÀggningar och explorativ kundundersökning
This thesis is commissioned by the Swedish electricity trading company GodEl with the purpose of evaluate solar electricity in multi-family buildings in the Stockholm region. The prices of solar panels have dropped recently due to the advances in technology, but the installation rate in Sweden remains low. It is therefore interesting to study the  profitability of solar electricity today, and if it is profitable enough to install based on profitability alone and not simply due to environmental considerations. Therefore this thesis first studies the profitability of solar panels based on a simulation of electricity production and consumption for multi-family buildings this region. The study concludes that solar electricity can be profitable in the Stockholm region under certain conditions; all of which have to be favourable for profitable solar electricity.The thesis also studies the opinion of the company's costumers concerning solar electricity.

This candidate thesis contains the possibility of expand the Swedish photovoltaic market through photovoltaic cooperatives and a photovoltaic exchange. In the current situation there is a lot of problems with production of electricity from photovoltaic, that?s why we show some possibilities how to avoid these. To understand the problem with photovoltaic produced electricity we first give you a background.We show how to expand the Swedish photovoltaic market by describing how a photovoltaic cooperative and photovoltaic exchange could work in Sweden. It have been confirmed from our market research that the interest of photovoltaic cooperative and exchange is high.To find out how profitable photovoltaic is in Sweden, have three projections been made.
Funktionsupphandling av solelanlÀggningar
This thesis aims to contribute to improved functional procurement of photovoltaic systems, PV systems. Functional procurement means that criteria concerning a function are set rather than specifying technical details or products. Possible advantages and difficulties in using functional procurement have been analyzed by interviews, simulations and a case study. Electricity production and surplus production for different scenarios have been simulated via MATLAB. The MATLAB script was also used to generate rules of thumb on feasible solar fraction for six different load profiles; a church, a farm, a car mechanic, an office, an industry and an apartment building.
Solel och solvÀrme ur LCC-perspektiv för ett passiv-flerbostadshus
This master?s degree project concerns the combination of a multi dwelling passive house with solar energy for the generation of electricity and domestic hot water (DHW). Different alternatives with either solar thermal systems or photovoltaic (PV) systems are compared with two reference alternatives producing DHW from electricity or district heating. The economical comparison uses a life cycle cost (LCC) perspective based on the present value of expenditures for investment, energy and annual operating and maintenance.The energy yields from the solar energy systems were calculated by hand and with simulation software. Calculation and dimensioning of PV systems were carried out with a software called PVSYST.

Akademiska hus is a real estate company that specializes in providing Swedish universities with housing facilities for educational and research purposes. The company strives to reduce its use of energy by 40% between the years 2000 and 2025. The aim of this thesis is to determine which measures can be taken to reduce the need of purchased energy in a building that is used by theSwedishUniversityof Agricultural Sciences inUppsala.In order to determine the results of various changes to the building envelope and ventilation system, the building was modelled in the computer simulation program VIP-Energy. Other proposed changes to make the use of energy more efficient concerned water use and lighting. The need of purchased energy can also be reduced by producing electricity or heat on site, using solar energy.Results show that economically viable measures include upgrading windows and faucets, adjusting control systems for ventilation and lighting, and installing roof mounted solar panels for power production.

Production of excess electricity is a major reason for this as the compensation for excess electricity today is low. However, there are businesses that have an electricityneed that are particularly suitable for solar electricity. These businesses have an electricity demand when the sun shines the brightest and if the Photovoltaic System is properly scaled, the excess electricity can be minimized. A golf club is that kind of a business and this thesis aims to examinate the solar power potential for golf businesses in Sweden.Nine golf clubs was selected from different locations in Sweden.

Uppsala County has ambitious environmental aims for the planned residential area inĂstra Sala backe. In this thesis different energy sources have been evaluated todetermine which system that would be most favorable given currently availableinformation about the project. Planned energy usage has been divided into tap waterheating, space heating and power. Three base case scenarios were made with districtheating, small scale bio fuel and heat pump. Solar power and solar heating were thensimulated and the production from the two could individually be deducted from theenergy need in the base cases, constituting 9 different scenarios.

Today many buildings and itŽs nearby surroundings are designed to achieve some kind of environmental goal.The issue concerning energy consumption is currently at focus and it is relevant that we start increase the share of renewable energy. Solar energy is an infinite resource and should therefore be considered when selecting an energy supplier. Uppsala University hospital is facing major restructuring when parts of the existing buildings will be refurbished and a large new building will be constructed. White Architects have developed a study concerning the new building and for some of the existing buildings on the hospital campus. Uppsala County requires tough energy measures and wants the new building to be classified as an eco-building in Whites following work. The classifications will involve high energy source requirements. This work has been conducted to see if solar power can be envisaged as a supplementary energy source for the University hospital and also to investigate the aesthetic impact of solar cells on the new building.
Solel frÄn ljudbarriÀr : lÀngs AnnetorpsvÀgen i Hyllie, Malmö
City of Malmö has ambitions for the district Hyllie to become a demonstrative area ofsustainable urban development. As a part of this the following report aims to investigate the potential in using noise barriers combined with photovoltaics along AnnetorpsvÀgen to generate solar electricity. To quantify the losses that shadows from buildings along the roadmight cause, a 3D-model of the area was constructed in SketchUp. This digital model made it possible to simulate shadows and how they change over the year. A reference model of a photovoltaic noise barrier (PVNB) was constructed and used to find the dates on which the solar cells are shadowed depending on building heights and positioning of the barrier.The results show that two lengths with a total distance of 400 meters is appropriate for applying photovoltaic noise barriers.
